Meet Tom Delonge

Like the Garth Brooks concert, I didn't think this would ever happen so it wasn't on my list already BUT I got a VIP pass to the Angels & Airwaves concert in SL and I get to meet Tom! I have never been so excited for anything in my whole life!! I have a sneaking suspicion that after I meet him no other man will ever compare and I will spend the rest of my life alone, but it's totally going to be worth it!

On Monday May 24, 2010 I MET TOM DELONGE!! He is even more attractive up close (which I didn't even think was possible!) and he more than lived up to my expectations. Slow clap on being a lovely man, Tom.

I'll be honest, I have no desire to stay in most of them for more than the amount of time it takes to snap a picture (Nebraska being one of those...love you though Harkness fam!) but it would be cool to go to that many places. I've only crossed off...Utah (obviously),Washington, Oregon, Cali, Nevada, Arizona (barely), Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Nebraska and Texas (in the airport). I guess 12 isn't bad, right?

Well I didn't think it was possible, that's why. However, I recently found out that he is out of retirement and playing at the Wynn in Vegas! So I get to live my dream of seeing Garth! Now I just have to find a show that's not sold out...

Shower At A Trucker Stop

This one started about a year and a half ago when Sara, Alyse and myself unexpectedly added 3 days onto our vacation...and all 3 of those days were without a shower. I tried to talk them into showering at a gas station in the ghetto, and they said no. But I want to, and so I intend to!

Hike Angels Landing

I'm not real sure why I decided this was a good idea. I asked my friend who has hiked it if it was scary and his response was "Don't blame me when you die." However, the more he not-so-nicely hinted that he really didn't think I could do it, the more I decided that I had to do it. And so in 11 days I will either be at the top of Angels Landing and posting my first pictures of something I accomplished on my bucket list, or dead at the bottom of it.

**UPDATE**

On Friday April 2 I succesfully hiked Angels Landing! It was terrifying but so amazing and gorgeous! I finally get to cross 1 off of my list!

I got an email today from studyabroad.com all about a study abroad in Italy...where I get to take baking/pastry classes and Italian. I think I'm going to sign up for fall semester 2011...assuming I can come up with about $15,000. I'm pretty sure it will be worth it though...
